My fiance and I were at my parents' lake cottage in North Webster and decided to go here for church Sunday morning. We were greeted warmly by the pastor and others, had a great service, and the pastor preached a great sermon. The church also has a soulwinning program (which is hard to find these days), and Pastor Carns has a solid understanding of the gospel and being saved by grace through faith - he doesn't just give the concept lip service. Almost less than a week later, the pastor sent us a nice letter with a personal hand-written note at the bottom. Whenever we're up there again on a Sunday morning, we'll be back!

My son pastors at this church, and he has for over 30 years. That in itself tells you all that you need to know. I am his mother, so I am a little biased. However, it is a Godly church and if I lived In Indiana I would be there for every service. He and his wife took a dying church and turned it into a shining testament to God's grace. They've built a solid reputation in the community. If you a searching for a welcoming and loving church home, look no further. Open Bible Baptist Church is a fine church. I love my OBBC family! Miss you all, keep on keeping on.

They stand by what the believe in, and do not waver.
The church family are there to greet you with a warm smile. They genuinely care and pray for each other.
The pastor and family are great people. They live the Lord with all their hearts and have dedicated their lives to serving God and to loving their neighbors.
The preaching is so honest and true to God’s word.

In addition to great preaching and teaching, the church offers many fun activities and opportunities for service. The pastor and his wife made me feel welcome at the church from the first time I attended. They are thoughtful and take the time to get to know each church member. I have known the pastor and his wife for over 20 years and have always been inspired by their consistent Christian testimony!
