    One of the best hidden gems in Michigan city, this place is like going into another world, try it once and you always go back, I wish there were more places like this in the world. The food is another level of amazing

    Unbelievably flavorful food! Fantastic! Both owners have French cooking backgrounds and it sure shows!

    Ask about their “first-Friday” dinners when they prepare special-themed meals. Even better!

    Fabulous food. Some of the best in all of Indiana. I especially love their California sandwich. Fills my tummy with warmth

    Edit 1/31/2019: With the new ownership some things have changed. The flavor isn't as good on some items. For example the salad dressing is now less flavorful or maybe just not enough is used. Chicken salad has changed dramatically for the worse.
    New owners seem very nice, but so far I see a slight degradation in food quality and service time. Hopefully this improves as they find their feet. The food is still good - just not as excellent as it used to be.

    Best restaurant in MC, and I don't think it's close.
    Try the Croque Madame, Triple Decker, and chicken salad sandwich.
    The only negatives I can think of are... weak air conditioning - it gets very hot in the summer, and the long lines.

    Incredible food! Best Rueben sandwich I’ve ever had! Great people and atmosphere. Felt like we were eating in Chicago. We live out of town but work in Michigan City and we’ve now found our weekly lunch spot. Thanks to the friendly staff and world class food
