A hidden gem in a busy, tech world.
I worked briefly as an RN at this facility through an agency when their facility spiked with Covid (as ALL facilities are experiencing). The building and furniture is dated with no recent updates but that’s not what caught my attention.
I’ve worked in several facilities through agencies and went home crying from the gross negligence I witnessed. The buildings were beautiful inside and out but the care was substandard.
Morgantown Inn impressed me with ALL of their staff. They love their residents ❤️ One of the few facilities that actually got their residents out of bed to prevent pneumonia, turned and repositioned every 2 hours to prevent bed sores and most important in my opinion spent additional time with their patients to minimize the feeling of isolation.
I would have no issue placing a loved one in this facility if that time came. It’s not the Holiday Inn. It’s home for these residents and they are loved. I don’t write many reviews but this place was special and deserves to be recognized
The staff works really hard and keeps the place very clean. The residents are taken care of wonderfully! The house keeping busts their butts to keep this place very clean and it smells so good. Also the nurses and CNA's work really hard and take great care of their residents! Everyone that works their loves the residents and the residents absolutely love the employees!!
The staff there work very hard to give their patients what they need, and go above and beyond for them.
This is an older establishment. At times you would say it's not clean enough but really it does get taken care of. The staff tries very hard to take care if the place. At some times they do get staff that don't care and or are drug using but looks like they get rid of them quickly. It needs work but every place does if it is old
