    This park is a great place for kids to play and the trail is perfect for the family that likes a little hike.

    I grew up in Martinsville and, like most children, I loved going to the park. As a teenager, my sisters and I went to the pool nearly everyday. However, when my children were little (15-20 years ago ????), most of the playground equipment had been removed and replaced with something mirroring a fast-food restaurant's cheap kid zone. NOW, the pool looks amazing, and will shortly be ready (woop woop, summertime!!), the playground looks good, there are numerous shelter houses and the walking trail is great!! If you start by the pond, you walk through the wooded area, and all the way to/or past the hill(which has a beautiful gazebo). Ya gotta love that hill!❤ Today, made me feel like a kid again!!!????

    Love the interactive Christmas display. Very nice pool and a remarkable play area in two separate locations offering unique equipment for all ages

    We had worship in nature today at shelter house #6. The enclosure has been refurbished and is now better than ever! We had a nice fire and stayed more than toasty! The shelter provided folding tables and chairs, fire wood, electric and trash disposal. Along with the necessary facilities close by. I hope to visit again sometime soon.
