  Beautiful hidden gem of the county parks system. Former residence of a botanist, and it shows. The garden and trails are abundant with spring bulbs and flowering trees in the spring. It’s a perfect balance of natural and manicured space with such a clever, unique variety of perennials and evergreens amongst the natural wooded setting throughout the park. It’s centerpiece is a uniquely designed home, now available for parks programs or private rental. In the summer, be sure to pack bug repellent— it’s quite dense with mosquitos during wetter, hotter days.
