  My 1st experience after Miles took over was not the best. BUT it was all on me. It was my aunt who passed and we were very close. It seemed like the family (there was 7 of us there) just wanted to get it over with which doesn't have anything to do with the funeral home. My second experience was great. It was for my mom. There was only 4 of us and we agreed on everything. Since mom was being cremated they came up with a way of making it seem like we weren't just leaving her there. We got to "see her off". It was extremely emotional for us but an awesome way to let her go. Kudos to Miles and his staff. Thank you!

  Sympathy, thoughtfulness and professionalism will always be remembered with deep appreciation during a very difficult time. The follow-up messages were appreciated acknowledging my loss had not been forgotten. Thank you for the excellent service you rendered.

  I recently had Sheets & Childs Funeral Home handle funeral arrangements for my husband's funeral. I can't say enough good things about the experience. They were kind and professional. They explained everything and went over all charges and helped file paperwork. They helped to pick out a burial plot and will assist with the headstone when we are ready. This is a locally owned funeral home instead of a big national corporation and they care about the people they serve.

  There are not enough stars to thank Sheets and Childs for their care and concern for myself and my family during 2 deaths. Our friend died in early 2020, he had pre-arranged with Sheets and Childs. Their respect for him and care for us was amazing. They were with us from visitation to a Memorial Service 4 months later. When my Mother died in September 2020, they were there for me and my brother. They cared for us like we were their family. They provided incredible support as we moved from a graveside service to the Memorial Service. Miles, Jeff, Zach, and Nancy walked me through a difficult time, and I feel are still supportive as I move through the stages of grief. As a Pastor I have experienced many funeral homes and staffs, Sheets and Childs is the best in caring for your loved one and you.

  Miles and his employees were all very caring and great with helping us make arrangements for our Mother’s funeral. They were so respectful and helped us make so many decisions we hadn’t thought of. We would definitely recommend their services to friends and family.
