Tonight, my husband who works Second Shift in Mill North (near Brevins) for C&A Tool was not home at his normal arrival time of 11:45. At 12:00 I called his cell and it went right to voicemail.
This is very unlike Ben, he's always home at the same time and if for any reason he will be late he will call......until tonight!
In a near panic, I thought "Hey, I bet the Police Dispatch will know if there have been any accidents on St Rd 33 OR if a guy is out front of the Mill North building trying to get his Toyota Tundra to start!"
So, I called and the NICEST Dispatcher answered, listened to my story and immediately alleviated my concerns by telling me, "I have been on since 10 and there have been no accidents...."
AND RIGHT THEN, my husband called! I thanked her, told her he was on the other line and I answered his call!
He explained he was so into fixing a problem on his machine that he spaced calling me and apologized profusely for the worry he caused!
Moral of this story:
You can COUNT on the Churubusco Police Department! My husband, not so much!
Outstanding Police department with excellent leadership and great police work exhibited. Officer Jones is one special cop for sure. Great job!
It was the Sheriff's department but excellent response to my concern. Under 15 minutes! Hopefully everything is ok but the response time was excellent! Thank you!
