Wichita Birth Assistance is the best! Cynthia was my midwife through my 5th pregnancy/birth and first home birth. She was very informative and caring. I really enjoyed my experience!

At 35 weeks we switched providers and chose to do a home birth. We had no idea at the time what a huge blessing that would be. As our midwife, Cynthia’s expertise, care, and coaching were absolutely perfect. My husband and I felt so cared for and safe throughout the whole process and it was amazing to see how the human body naturally does its thing in that environment. Big thanks to both our midwife, Cynthia, and midwife assistant, Sharon Foster! We can’t recommend these women or a home birth enough!

I had a wonderful experience with Wichita Birth assistant, the whole team are so sweet, kind and helpful! My midwife Deidre was very caring, listen to what was going on with my body the whole pregnancy and educated me on what I needed to do to help it go smoothly.
This was my first time to go with a midwife for my birth but my fourth pregnancy. My other three children were born in another state with a Doctor and positive hospital births. I loved my previous doctor, he was kind and listened to what I wanted. Giving birth in a hospital is not very relaxing. They have rules and requirements, so it made my birthing experience not very comfortable. Mainly because they want you to stay in the hospital bed so much and I like to move around. Nothing traumatic or bad happened but just not my cup of tea. So I say all this to say, I wanted to try something different with this birth and because that doctor was several states away.
Having a home birth for me was perfect, so relaxing and calm. There were moments I was curious of how this would all work having a child at home... how do I do this or that... do I need sanitize my whole house before the baby is born. Or how do you push a baby out sitting in a birthing pool? It was all new to me but Deidre coached me along, made me feel comfortable and told me what to expect. My kids were there for the early stages and read their soon to be born baby sister stories. It was precious. Memories I hold dearly. The midwives came just in time to tell us, we were soon going to be holding our baby girl. The birth went great and smoothly, better than I could imagine.
So I highly recommend these wonderful people if you want a natural and relaxing home birth. They will coach you through the whole process.

Sharon delivered our beautiful little girl on Sharon's birthday! It will be an extra special story to tell her, when she's older, u I 9 nubbybut I'm sure that staying up all night with us wouldn't have been my top pick, if it were my birthday! Thank you Sharon for powering through the night with us and I hope your future birthdays are super fabulous!

I love everything about my experience at Wichita Birth Assistance. I learned so much and the amount of time they spent with me in each session was beyond my expectations. I had my other babies in the normal doctor/hospital settings and this by far was my favorite experience. I had the privilege of working with all the midwives and assistants in this office and each one treated me like family. I would highly recommend Wichita Birth Assistance to any woman.
