I am new in town. I brought a home here in Arkansas City Ks. We were to have carpet and floors and appliances. We quickly found out after arriving that all was unlivable and all appliances and walls all tore up. I came here for a new job at a retirement home. I am also an instructor I give back to the world all I can. My Christian faith have carried me through the worst. My wife and her son here. She has a younger son in Little Rock with an 80 year old mom taking care of our son. I called to ask for help to fix things it's a 650 sq ft home and a fridge and maybe stove to eat. The minister was so nice and he prayed with me on the phone. I felt God in my heart with him. I come to service tomorrow on 6/4/2017. My knee severely injurgered so I can't start work and trying to fix this small home is beating me down. I pray several times a day. I hoping God hears the church welcomes me and that the warmth I felt on the the phone can help get a hand up to take care of my loving family. For a prideful man the most harm a soul can suffer is not providing. Though we don't need much because of my injury and family living apart it's a mountain. But maybe with God guidance and faith and the loving support of this wonderful church. My family will be stronger. I suggest everyone become a part of this warm church and family. Thank you so much for giving me an ounce of faith. I see you and pray with you tomorrow. If Job can withstand the test from God then with my new church I can maybe stand tall with pride. I love you all. 100 star rating from me. Thank you
