(September 24, 2018, 1:04 pm)Salvation Army is a reliable organization for distributing items to people in need......I know, 60 years ago my husband & I were in desperate need .....and we received it from The Salvation Army organization. Since that time, I repay them by donations of money and good condition articles for their resale or gifts for those in need, as I once was. I will forever be grateful for their kindness, care and concern. I have been to the store in my area and found it to be as organized as possible when volunteers are truly trying to make sense of all the items that are dropped on their doorsteps. I dare say, if anyone complains about orderly conditions, I am sure they would appreciate any help from the complainers in arranging the store to better suit the purchasers.
Please be patient and overlook what might be inconvenient to the shopper. The Salvation Army is a true helper to any community they enter. They are not paid enormous salaries as some charity organizations are...and that is another big factor in why I give and buy from my area Salvation Army Unit.
