(April 19, 2018, 9:39 am)We've been training here for almost 3 years now and it's been such a positive experience for my family! My daughter started taking the homeschooling class and I was so impressed by all the self defense she was learning that I joined the class myself. My youngest just started up in the fall and it's been an empowering experience for us all. I truly feel that my daughters will know how to protect themselves if they ever get into a tricky situation.
The instructor is awesome with kids and is a very effective teacher. Not everyone knows how to teach and talk to children, but Renshi is a natural. The kids have fun while learning new skills and there is always an atmosphere of encouragement and doing your personal best. The self control and respect they've learned in the process have been a wonderful bonus. As for me, I've discovered a form of physical activity that I love and new goals that I'm excited to work toward. All in all, our time at Shugosha has changed our lives for the better and I can't recommend it enough! -

(June 14, 2016, 11:25 am)Love this place! The teachers here are extremely knowledgeable and constantly push the boundaries of what I know as possible. At Shugosha I am treated as family. I appreciate the attention that I get from my instructors to make sure I achieve my goals.
