  I had some major hip pain that was limiting my golf swing and life. Thanks to Donny I am now 100 percent pain free. He is very personable and incredibly easy to work with. I highly recommend seeing Donny if you are living with any kind of physical pain. I thought the pain I had was something I was going to have to live with and did for many years. Boy was I wrong.

  This story goes way back.
  I was born with a couple bone diseases, one called congenital femoral deficiency, and the other called multiple hereditary exostoses. In your terms; benign bone tumors all over my body and a missing thigh on my right side. At the age of 14, I had a surgery called rotationplasty in West Palm Beach, Florida that allowed my foot to act as my knee in a prosthetic leg. A little over 2 years ago, I decided that I wanted to learn how to run but I knew that I'd need a physical therapist to get to that point. After going to a couple sessions at Freedom Physical Therapy, we learned exactly how much work we'd need to do to. In my time that I've been with them, I've had another major surgery and broken multiple bones in my body on separate occasions (my bad).
  Even through the medical misfortunes, going to physical therapy every week ends up being a blast. Don works hard on creating routines for me to strengthen my residual limb and manages to work around the pain that my prosthetic leg and the bone tumors cause me. As a type of amputee, there's always rehab that I'll need to do and at Freedom I feel myself progressing every session; not only towards having a more natural gait but also on my athletic goals.

  Before I went to freedom physical therapy, I honestly thought I wasn’t going to be able to run again. After 3 months of physical therapy, I am running without any pain. Thanks Donnie!!

  I had calcification of the Achilles tendon. I had seen my primary physician, a podiatrist and had gone to another physical therapy facility. None of these people were able to help me. Finally, I was referred by Dr. Halloran from the Orthopedic Institute to Dr. Don Dequine of Freedom Physical Therapy. He was quite knowledgeable about my condition and he knew how to treat it. He gave me exercises to do every day at home and I went to his office twice a week so he could assess my progress. The exercises hurt, but the more often I did them the less pain there was. Before I was referred to his office, I was limping and could not walk without pain. After only a couple weeks of exercises my heel was not as painful. Dr. Dequine gave me new exercises later on in treatment and now I am about 95% cured! I will continue to do the exercises to increase or at least maintain my muscle strength that I have gained due to the exercises he has given me. I cannot thank him enough! My other option would have been surgery. I would highly recommend that before you commit to surgery, that you consult with Freedom Physical Therapy first. He and his staff are very caring and friendly. Charlotte

  So glad I found Freedom Physical Therapy. Donny has done an amazing job getting my legs to start moving again correctly and without pain. He explains things well, listens, and knows the proper exercises for me to do in order to achieve the outcome I want. He and his entire staff are friendly and make you feel comfortable. I wish I could give this clinic more than five stars.
