The team here keeps their area in good condition and works on keeping the relations of their neighbors positive. I've now been to two of the Kansas Public Lands, at Elk City and now here. Top notch experiences. 10/10

(November 5, 2020, 10:34 pm)This time my visit was for general day time photography, at a hobbiest level of course. There are opportunities for water and land type scenes around the area. Options are to drive or hike. I only chose the western side to photograph a sunrise but will return for more in depth trips to include night photography. Note: The roads to the wildlife area are well maintained so no need to special vehicles to access.
