Surprisingly delicious. The corn on the cob, crisp not soggy, well seasoned. The catfish, melt in your mouth savory. The Mac n cheese, um well...next time I'll try the potato salad 😉. Chalk it up to not traveling well.
All in all, a very good meal. Thanks guys!!
I cannot say enough great things about mount hope nursing center. During the pandemic they have strived to keep our loved ones safe and made accommodations to allow family members to be able to communicate with them by FaceTime, phone, window visits.. etc. I have felt like my dad is safe, even when I cannot be there. One of the best decisions was moving my father to MHNC, they care for him and I know that he loves it too.
Our mother was a resident there for approximately 2 months during the COVID pandemic. The staff is absolutely the best ever! So emotional when they had to tell our father he could not come and sit with her daily - they cried over it! The staff is so caring and trustworthy! Such a wonderful culture in this facility! The facility is clean, and such a home-like feeling. I would not hesitate to recommend Mt. Hope Nursing Facility to anyone who needs long term care!
My dad, Hank Petersen was in Mt. Hope Nursing Center from 1998 to 2000 and he loved it. Everybody called him the greeter because he sat at the front door and greeted everything that was coming in and leaving every day. Some of the kids that were coming in to visit someone would hug him like he was their grandpa. They were very nice and caring people and it looks like they've made some changes which looks very nice. Thank you.
My dad was in this Care Home a decade ago and when it was time to move my mom from her home to a Care Center there was no doubt we wanted her in The Mt. Hope Nursing Center. There are so many benefits to a smaller facility. From the support and guidance you get during admittance to the care your loved gets, it’s the absolute best! They get to know your loved one personally and go out of their way to make it feel like home. There are so many activities and fun things to do. (Exercise class, games, crafts, baking, church, etc...) When my mom entered the home we thought we were losing her physically and mentally. She has thrived and loves telling us about her busy day. She has found purpose and tells us how wonderful all the help is to her. Our family is blessed to know mom is getting the best care around!
