The Bug Lady’s Science Academy

We LOVED our time at Bug Lady! Our kids spent 3 years there before moving into elementary school, and we would've stayed longer if we could! They learned so much while attending there, and made many friendships. The kids still recite animal facts they learned years later. As a parent, we never had any doubt our children were in great hands while in their care, and appreciate the high quality education they received to prepare them for school. We can't say enough good things about this place!

We loved the idea of a program that focused on STEM and fine arts learning even at a young age, plus the added bonus of all the animal friends to interact with. The amount of hands-on activities helped them learn, and the teachers took the time to appreciate and help each child learn in the ways that best suited them.

In addition to a great education and preparing them for elementary school, they also gained an appreciation for all types of animals, plants, reptiles, and insects. My kids aren't scared of any bugs or reptiles, and I know it's because their time at Bug Lady educated them, and taught them about these creatures enough to realize there's nothing to be scared of. I can't imagine any other early education program quite like this, and recommend it to everyone!

We absolutely loved our experience at The Bug Lady! My son came home daily sharing new facts about animals and science, his teachers were in constant communication with us, and he made the best friends. Now that he's in kindergarten at a public school, he is above his class in both reading and math--no doubt due to the education he received at BLSA!

Amazing place! Both my daughters attended The Bug Lady's Science Academy for pre-school and they still talk about it years later -- they absolutely loved their time there and often ask, when can they go back. The Bug Lady and her staff are amazing, the building is truly magical and unique, and the curriculum is fun, engaging, and educational.

My 4 yr. old son loves " his Bug Lady", as he would say. He's been going to her school for over a year now. She's very good with all the children, provides interaction and experiences with critters/animals that some children would never get otherwise. My child comes home teaching me sign language & Spanish words. He can almost count to 20 & he loves going to school. He goes to school from 7am to 6pm most of the time & he can't wait to see " his Bug lady" every day!! She has a private facebook page available for parents to see pictures of all the fun stuff they do with the kids each day. I highly recommend Bug Lady Science Academy, camps, party's & all events she provides. The kids just love her.
