  It's been years since I went to a a Granite City, and this experience was a bit lackluster compared to what I remember. Food was good, portions ample. The Bennie (a smooth German Bock, one of their year-round beers) remains a favorite. Table was clean but could have used a good sweeping underneath. Service was rocky, but they did discount our meal a bit to compensate (pro tip: you can pay at the bar if your server disappears). I'm sure they're tight staffed like so many places right now. Not a deal breaker, certainly willing to try it again sometime in the future.

  Amazing food. We got there on a Friday right before HH was over and there was hardly anyone there. Seated immediately. Served drinks immediately. STRONG drinks. Definitely take advantage of the happy hour menu if you can. Everything is good on it, and the prices super affordable. I attached photos to this review so go check them out!

  Service was good. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food they ordered. It appears to be a popular place. We were there for lunch on a Saturday.
