Basham Lumber Co Inc

I was glad to discover this store. They have a lot in stock and the prices are not too awfully different from the big guys such as Lowe's. The lumber quality appears to be much better too! I heard that small stores usually hand-select their lumber, and the big stores are not.

You could not ask for better customer service! I know the prices maybe a little higher than the big box stores but I prefer to keep my money in the local community supporting small business owners.

My husband Josh Cook who runs the back of the store is a good loyal trustworthy worker and he will take care of the customers like his own and like he would want to be treated himself. I'm very proud of him and his work ethics but if anyone needs to know specifically anything to do with whatever there needs are ask him he will advice you accordingly to benefit the customer and the company.

Awesome place to buy lumber, tools, hardware, etc. A lot smaller than Lowes and Home Depot, but has a lot of the same items. Only down fall...they're closed on the weekends!

Today, I shopped at Basham for a shovel and ice melt. A polite gentleman helped me choose the correct shovel, carried my items to my vehicle and with his bare hands, scraped the chunks of ice from the trunk of my car! He stated he didn't want the ice to lodge and cause a bend. Folks, I would NEVER have received this kind of personal, caring, thoughtful service from a big box store. I highly recommend Basham.
