  Ethan and the staff at Spurlin Funeral Home done an excellent job handling the funeral services for my mother. They were so kind and helpful and made sure everything was as we wished. It couldn’t have been a more beautiful service. It was perfect!

  Spurlin took excellent care of my infant son’s funeral. They were super caring. Highly recommend using them if you want to be treat as people rather than a check.

  Our nephew died tragically and unexpectedly Friday, October 16, 2020. We have a large, extended family, many of whom had to come great distances for our nephew’s services. Spurlin’s Funeral Home in Stanford worked with my family from the moment we went to see them until we laid our nephew to rest.
  
  Barry, Ethan, Dan and Norman were so compassionate and considerate of my family’s needs. They worked with our schedule to make sure all our family could attend the services. They accommodated every request the family made to help us deal with overwhelming grief. Their kindness and compassion made this tragic and painful time so much easier to bear. We can not recommend them highly enough to other families in their time of sorrow, and we thank them again for all their professionalism and kindness in this sad, sad time.

  Highly recommended for a loved ones funeral arrangements. My father's services were held here and Spurlin made it absolutely perfect, ooh it was so beautiful. Thank you again Jason, Ethan & all who helped. It means so much to my family& myself. The loss of someone you love is hard enough so planning the funeral too can be overwhelming & of course very emotional but the people your working with are so kind, understanding, patient. They walk you through everything, step by step with a genuine heart. That helps the entire situation a great deal. Spurlin is by far the best around, I will always recommended it!
