Burgin Christian Church is a small church with a friendly congregation. The Pastor encourages acceptance and love for everyone. The church is active in the community and meeting the needs of others. Recently they helped collect clothes for a teen in Eastern Ky. At each service there’s is time for the Pastor and the children to sit together and talk about scripture and God. It’s a beautiful sight to see. It always ends with a bowl of candy and suckers being passed around.
If you are looking for a church home Burgin Christian Church is an excellent place to attend.
Once a month this church provides free food to those who are in a financial hardship to the residents of Burgin. The church staff are very friendly and generous, when going one will need to provide certain verification. Again, I can't speak highly enough of the generosity this church shows to those in need. Over this past Saturday I know this church helped around 80 families. When one is in a financial bind these ppl can really help to make ends meet. God bless them!
