Old Owl Tavern

This place was packed at 7:30pm on a Friday night. We had a little wait, but not bad. There's a peculiar setup with a random black curtain blocking the front door from the restaurant. Not sure if it was a makeshift waiting area or to block the cold air or what. I had the chicken salad and it is huge! It's a bit crowded, but the crowd seemed to be cozy and festive. The service was functional, but they were running their tails of and didn't really have things for small talk. All in all, we had a good experience.

Love this restaurant and it's ambiance. The food is good, service is great. Love the Beaumont Inn.

What a delightful experience! Cocktails were awesome and our authentic southern food was to die for! Now, don't laugh or wrinkle up your nose when I tell you I had the fried chicken livers; pure yumminess! We were seated quickly and received top-notch service. When visiting this area again, this restaurant will be a must for dinner!

Great place, Ribeye was great, bartender was great, and good beer after a long day's drive. The bar is an old carriage house run by 5 generations. They dated back to prohibition time. Wow! Oh, Ky-Fl game is on too. To top it all off, we're just a couple miles from our favorite camping at Walmart.

We were in town, for the first time, visiting family and we all enjoyed delicious meals! The fried catfish melted in your mouth. The beans were well seasoned (just a tad salty). It was a little slow getting our food, but it was very busy for a Tuesday night, and there were six of us. Our server was excellent! Wouldn't hesitate to stop in when we are in town again!
