Immaculate Conception Church

It was my first time visiting this church since I just moved to the area and I loved it. Is gorgeous and the peace you breathe here is totally divine!

Great parish. Has a young pastor who is friendly. The parishoners could stop climbing over the handicapped and go to communion by following another route. The gentleman that brings communion to the back should check how many he needs before Mass or a designated person should do this. There could be pews set aside for the handicapped and elderly. The church has a Slanted floor which is pitched at the wrong level and is difficult to walk up.

For the past 20 years, I have attended IC. Everyone is like family. Unlike non Catholic churches ( especially Evangelical), you don't hear politics from the pulpit, as it should be. Only the Word of God. That changed for the first time last Sunday. While speaking about his ministry, a parishioner made disparaging comments about the present administration in Washington. That hasn't happened in the past, and I hope it doesn't happen again. Its our time with the Lord, not government.

I have been a parishioner at Immaculate Conception for at least 20 years. I am not able to drive due to a disability. However I have been able to attend 99% of the masses by another parishioner. I have also always received transportation to the Bible Study, adoration and many other things. In other words the parishioners do indeed work for God. Both their and my awareness of God’s work has grown at I.C.. All of the priests that have been nothing except wonderful. I could go on forever but I will just say I love you Immaculate Conception, you have given me nothing but ability around my disability!
