We spent the past few days at Three Springs Campground when we visited the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, and we had a great time.
We are a family of six so we rented one of their cabins, Mac’s Place. The kids loved it. It had plenty of room and was well-equipped. We bought two bundles of firewood, which they delivered to us the first evening. The staff is friendly. The main thing for my wife was that the bathrooms were clean, which was good. They are also adding new features - a playground and dog park, which will be a good addition. I would recommend this campground if you are going to be visiting the Ark Encounter. It is only a 10-15 minute drive from there.
Thanks to Rachel and Chris for being great hosts.
Beautiful campground. For a small campground it offers alot!! Trees, green grass, a stream. Not far from the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. and its Quiet. Would come back again.
This camp was great! Public restroom was well kept. Cabin was clean. The campgrounds are maintained very well. Staff was friendly and quick to respond to questions and requests (A plank on a bridge broke and they fixed it the same day). Our family will stay here again when we pass through again.
I’ve read negative comments on here on the closing time of check in. They were upfront on the time and why it is that way. Being there in person I can see why and I appreciate that standard.
I love this place. We try to visit 3 or 4 times a year. Its so peaceful and pleasant . And the owner Rachel could not be any more pleasant and helpful if she tried ❤❤everything is so clean. Back n a big grove of trees. Nestled in a bunch of peaceful happiness. Its a must come visit. Worth the trip. Signed. A VERY HAPPY CAMPER . The pool is closed a tree fell in it. But it is still worth the trip
Enjoyed our stay & our site. The rain kinda hurt the experience but can't blame the park for that. I'm sure our campsite is a popular one with the lack of grass which made it muddy with the rain, it was a great spot hope they can maybe let it sit for a bit & get some good hardy grass growing. Nonetheless had a great time & helpful & friendly staff.
