Scott County Park

Good place to have a little get together with family and friends..

I was tempted to only give three stars, but it is a very big park with quite a few facilities. I just think it's beginning to look worn. It could use some cleaning and paint. It could also use a lot more trees. There is a moderately long walking track, but almost all of it is unshaded. I think a shady park is much more inviting than a scorching expanse of grass. It does have two lakes which is nice, but people are constantly driving in the grass and on the walk path to drive right to the edge of the back lake, which is dangerous. All in all, I just think it is under-developed and could be so much more.

Such a beautiful, clean park. Wonderful place for all sorts of activities. Amazing playground with equipment for children of ALL ages. Plenty of swings. Lots of space to run. Covered seating close by for parents.
Grass is well maintained and trash is kept up. Can’t wait to make more memories here.
