Yellow Carriage House

This B&B is lovely inside and out. Nestled in horse country and nearby bourbon trail, it was perfect for our little getaway to Kentucky. Innkeeper Hope took great care of us, with a delicious breakfast every morning that kept us going until dinner time! She was also delightful company. The inn is quiet and comfortable with a beautiful view of the sunset.

Perfect last minute getaway for our 24th wedding anniversary

The Yellow Carriage House B & B is a hidden gem in the heart of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Tucked away in horse country, this Bed & Breakfast is a beautifully renovated farm house, on a scenic, wooded property, with a gracious and kind Inn Keeper. During my stay I slept in the King Suite which has a comfortable queen bed, a large walk-in shower, and a clawfoot soaking tub. The soaking tub feels amazing after a long day of travel, which I enjoyed relaxing in the warm water and bubbles with a full glass of wine.

Rod (the Inn Keeper) is kind, hospitable, and accommodating. He's quick to ask if you need anything and is gracious to deliver a refill and do anything to help make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. As a young, solo, female traveler, I have loved my time here and have felt safe. The rooms, property, and house is great for anyone and couples looking to get away, have an adventure, and even a little romance.
