I just want to praise the entire staff at The Haven. Always a friendly and caring face to great you upon entry. Their caregivers are so kind and make your family feel comfortable on a daily basis. The maintenance men are also very good at any and all parts of your apartment life. So thankful for a staff that truly cares.

Staff was always courteous and helpful. They would always call and report any " incidents" promptly.
Food was always nicely presented and delicious (if you like no seasoning which is understandable). Silverware and plates always clean when I was there, and I would pop in at all different times.
You can tailor your loved ones needs and level of care a la carte, picking and choosing which services you want or need.
Rent is on a month to month basis, which included 3 meals and light house keeping. Cable and utilities NOT included ( but utilities average about $100 per month or less for all and cable is... you know... cable). You can cook and spend the night with your loved one as often as you want and the facility is very secure without it being bothersome to you or guests.
Plenty of activities and very accommodating if you plan your own using the facility, like birthday party or music. We even had some friends in a band play there!
Be aware that this is a business so they will from, time to time, try to get you to pay for increased care, but if you know the reason behind any" incident" ( like we had a long day that day and he was overly tired and went to the wrong room etc ), then you can explain why this occurred and the staff and mgt always handled it with Grace. Their care, concern and love, was always focused on what's best for your family and IF you actively participate, they will work with you.
All 'n all, my experience with The Haven was more like a 2nd home or a hotel than an "old folks home" and I wasn't the only one who made that comment.
Thanks to all staff and management for helping and loving up on my dad. Please keep up the good work because, maybe one day, I'll be a resident! ?? Lol
    God Bless you all.
