Jefferson Parish Library - Lakeshore Library

It's nice , clean , the workers are helpful , but much smaller than the main library . Since I read two books a week , I love the library . It makes it easy on the pocket , not having to buy books .

I love this library so much! The staff is friendly and the selection of films is a nice size. I've been visiting this library for years. Today's experience was so enjoyable that I felt the need to review it. I over heard one librarian have a pleasant talk with a little girl, absolutely heart warming. Then the librarian who helped me was very charming and a pleasure to talk to. Absolutely love this library. Plus, lots of areas to work quietly and peacefully.

I love this library! It’s small and quiet, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Its selection isn’t very large because the building itself is small, but it’s really easy to order a book or movie from any other Jefferson Parish library and have it held for you. The website is easy to navigate; it shows what’s available at which library and the status of whatever item you are waiting to check out, down to the date it’s due back and what position you are in the queue. It’s in a convenient location (on the corner of W. Esplanade and E. William David), and there is an ample parking lot across the street, so I visit the library quite often.
