  Dr Wilhite and ALL of his staff are truly amazing!!
  It’s So easy to talk to them. They are all so professional yet extremely friendly. Always a relaxed, clean and Comfortable environment. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

  They are super nice and my son and I have no issues when I go. You get in and out quickly and the eye doctors are very thorough.

  I love the way they treat us when we go. The doctor is very thorough and has a really good bedside manner. He takes his time to explain everything without you having to ask questions. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. We feel like we’re more like an extended family than another group of patients. My kids love going to get their eyes checked. Really love this place!

  **UPDATE**
  Not even a few hours later I was contacted by the Eye doctor himself to resolve the issue. He apologized, explained where things went wrong with my in office experience as well as how he is going to be fixing them to ensure they do not happen again to myself or anyone else. Additionally, he has gone above and beyond to make things right. I appreciate that in a business and will be back! I thank you very much for being an honest business who works to rectify any problems. THANK YOU!

  I really liked this place (Marrero location) when I found them over a year ago so I scheduled to go for my annual exam again this year. Unfortunately, the only good thing about this place is the eye doctor himself. The rest is terrible!
  
  To start off, the lady at the front desk, while seeming to have a nice attitude, doesn't seem to pay attention to the insurance you are using. When questioning whether I would be getting an eyeglasses or contacts exam I stated I would get the contacts exam. She then proceeded to tell me I would need to pay for it. I explained I NEVER had to pay for it with Medicaid, only if I was getting both exams or purchasing the contacts, etc. She then argued a bit before actually checking and realizing I was right.
  
  After my exam I was exiting to the other counter that you go to upon leaving where there is ANOTHER person at the desk. Once again I was told I needed to pay some amount for my visit. I once explained that I do not have to my insurance covers my visit. After some arguing she spoke to the eye doctor himself and once again it was confirmed that my visit was covered. She then offered a box of contacts to me as I apparently had funds left from Medicaid towards that visit because the exam was discounted. I thought that was great and accepted the offer since insurance would be able to cover it. I was told they would contact me as soon as the contacts arrived. My exam was in Mid October 2019. We are now nearing Christmas and I STILL have not heard anything from that office in regards to my contacts that should have been here by now.
  
  The customer service is HORRIBLE. It seems the front office doesn't know what they are doing whatsoever and tend to give the run around. The only thing I would highly rate is the eye doctor, who is very good at what he does and professional. However, the rest of the staff makes it a horrible experience and seems like I need to go elsewhere from now on. Maybe this is just the way they treat people who are on Medicaid? I don't know, but very upset and sure hope they didn't charge my insurance for contacts I never received!
