Auberge du Chene Vert Bed and Breakfast

What a beautiful and charming place!
About 40 miles away from the New Orleans airport and on the Mississippi. Walk out the front door and across the street is the levy. Climb to the top and walk five minutes for an unobstructed view of the mighty Mississippi.
This is a rural community. I drove about three miles to Gramercy for dining and basic shopping.
The hostess is warm and inviting.

This a very clean and cozy B&B. The owner is very sweet and attentive. The homemade breakfast and southern hospitality were great. I would stay here again.

We were on a 9700 mile road trip in January and February of 2018 looking for warm weather with out much success. I found Auberge du Chene Vert on google maps with one review and thought it looked like a good option. There are three bed rooms and ours was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with the best cup of coffee since we left Washington State and in fact the entire trip. The house would be an excellent facility for weddings or other events with a large dining/meeting area, a large front yard and rocking chairs on the porch. The only down side was in January it was too cold to use the chairs without jackets and blankets and the other was we only had time to stay one night. We would definitely stay again!

Great bed and breakfast. There are 3 rooms to choose from, and there is a common dining area and foyer. There is a wonderful front porch and front yard. Mary is very accommodating (she let us land a helicopter in the front yard!) and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. This was a very cozy and romantic stay, and we will definitely be back!
