  Nice place right on the river. The boardwalk that is on the river is rotten and you can't walk on it to fish. One small trail called "swamp trail" is just a small loop. Only 6 spots have sewage hookups. Ideal place if you have a kayak or boat.

  Beautiful state park. It had been raining the day before we came and our spot #61 did not drain very well and was quite muddy. The view was quite lovely of the river and the moss covered trees. Overall a great experience!

  Beautiful park on the river. Good price and nice size sites. We were there after a hurricane so the boardwalk along the river was closed for repair but the one through the swamp was awesome.

  Awesome, clean, nice sites, plenty of room, dump stations, water and elect hookups, playground for the kids, fire pits... The river is lovely, the neighbors are nice. Will come back if ever in the area. Close enough to town and down town New Orleans and swamp tours.

  Beautiful place. If you have a big rig I suggest the back portion of the park. Was a bit difficult to maneuver our 39 foot fifth wheel. Bath house was very clean and spacious! Would definitely go back!
