Maryland Renaissance Festival (MDRF)

This place is always a pleasure. There's always tons of entertainment, good food and drink, and it's a great place to gather with small to very large groups of friends. It's fun for all types of people from the very mundane to the almost-working there types. I know several of the shop proprietors and entertainers, and they're all very nice and fair people.

Always have an amazing time when we come here! The only thing I would mention is remember to bring cash and take note that there are a lot of hills. If you have some one older you are bring then make sure they know that it is a hilly area.
All of the shows are super fun! I have never had any issues here!

Fantastic place for brews, food, and entertainment. Come early and get ahead of the crowd. Nothing says fall like a 10 am glass of mead, beer or a combination of the two. The food is fair food, but it's cheap and what you expect. The games are cheap and fun. Go and enjoy the experience for what it is. Dress up if that's your thing, people watch if it's not. Everyone can have fun walking around and watching the shows.

One of the top fall attractions in Maryland. This is a must do. There is something for everyone here. Fun food, good food, beer, wine, performances, and costumes. Check the calendar to see if there is a particular weekend you want to, like pirate weekend, or Celtic weekend etc. If the weather is going to be perfect you should probably get tickets in advance in case of a sell out. There are games, like axe throwing, dart throwing, strong man, etc. face painting. Tons of arts and crafts for sale. Something for everyone. The kids will love it as well.

Great Experience. The entertainment was awesome. So many shows to catch, the food was great and reasonably priced. They had elephant and camel rides along with pony. I playground for kids, which me toddler loved. And tons of shopping. Would totally come back if in the area again! Everyone was nice and great Free Parking!!
