I love this studio. I have been attending for a few months. I really like Maddie as an instructor and will be continuing to go to her class for a long time! Also, the studio has all the supplies you need - mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, etc. - to use for free. The other studios I've been to have charged for such things. Great place for a beginner like myself.
Shakti is a wonderful studio. Very clean with natural light. The classes and the workshops are great.
There is no other studio that emphasizes good body awareness the way Shakti does. The teachers, Sue in particular, really make sure you are moving properly. The classes are enjoyable but I'm also moving correctly so I do not injure myself.There is a lot of individual attention. My favorite class is the Mind Body Fitness.
Shakti Studio is amazing! The class schedule changes sometimes, but I can always find a time to go. There are many different types of classes and I have enjoyed all of them so far. It's a really great place to work on your yoga skills and get peace of mind. And everyone there is really nice! I'm looking forward to going to many more classes in the future.
I started at Shakti studio in November of 2012, no previous yoga experience. I started with beginner yoga and love it, the instructors worked with me, helping me with proper positions etc. I also attend The Mind and Body class a workout class with yoga intertwined.
The studio is very nice, clean and comfortable.
