Capital SUP - Eastport

I appreciate the feedback from the owner and happily revised this to 5 stars since the event was very fun and this was in fact a trial! I’m hopeful this event will continue to be offered and look forward to a more streamlined process in the future as they clearly are putting effort into working out the kinks for this new class! Bravo to the owner for your thoughtful response and for offering this class. It’s appreciated.

I took a Mommy and Me class with my 3 yr old. She and I loved the event once we were on the water, but I was highly disappointed that our 6pm class didn't even touch a paddle board until 6:30pm. No real paddle board instruction was provided. It felt really disorganized from waiver review (I completed mine in advance but waited for review and completion of others), to how to store our belongings, and the elusive bathroom location (super important for little kids). I believe this was a test trial for this class so hopefully future classes are more organized because it has amazing potential!

My 3 year old and I did the 1st ever Mommy & Me paddle last night! There were 13 other mamas and their kids and we had the best time! Last night was a trial class for CapitalSUP and based on the awesome feedback, they’re going to do more paddles this summer! Thanks for a fun and memorable night!

I treated my mom to a SUP lesson for her birthday. We both found we were having trouble getting comfortable on the boards so the instructor very kindly let us switch to kayaks and we had a blast! The location is beautiful to paddle around in and our instructor (Sebastian) was great. Very attentive and patient for first timers. Highly recommend!

What a very cool experience for my daughter and I this past Saturday! I will start by saying - the weather did not allow for us to see the sunset which was a bummer - However - we had the most amazing time being the only ones on the water with a small group of about 10. We arrived at 5am when it was dark, and greeted happily by the SUP team. It was quiet, calm, peaceful paddling past all the boats and marina and we were taken out past a getty area to hang out a bit for the sunset. Jack one of our guides was so awesome and shared all this information about birds and wildlife on the Chesapeake which was so interesting. I have paddled in Annapolis before -but would highly recommend this outfit - and the time of day. It was so worth - it to be the first ones out, without all the traffic of the boats and people. If I were on vacation - top of my list for sure. We live in Baltimore, so will definitely be back. When we arrived back to the dock - they had coffee from RISE UP which I thought was a nice touch too!

My first Capital Sup experience kayaking was wonderful. Did a 2hr paddle at Quiet Waters in Annapolis with my son and it was awesome. Staff greeted us on arrival. Very helpful in setting me up and getting me started. It was the perfect location for a “nature” paddle. Water was like glass! Staff very helpful again when I came in. Made sure I enjoyed myself. Will definitely go back again.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
