Doc Jameris is amazing he always was straight with me never pushed me as to which way I should or shouldn't go with treatment of my very bad back. He told me what exactly to look for as to when things got serious enough that I needed to contact him right away. in the end he kept me from being paralyzed at the very least severly incapable of daily activities. The instant I woke up I had feeling back in places that had been numb for a very long time... I love Doc J and would recommend him to anyone he always had a smile but is appropriately serious and straight shooter when you need to hear not so gegre info
Dr. Jamaris did my first back surgery in March 2000. He did my second back surgery in April 2010 and it was very extensive fusing L2 to L5 with metal and cadaver bone. He did a great job also! He will not do surgery unless you really need it!! He also did surgery on our youngest daughter Julianne in October 2010, when all she could do in terrible pain was drag her leg after she blew a disc sneezing. He made my husband David’s sciatic pain go away with two epidurals earlier this year. He tries everything before he does any surgery.
I need another fusion surgery, L5 to S1, but due to the “extravaganza” I already have in my back, which has caused the lower back problem, he’s concerned it would be too much on me. So he’s doing everything he can to help me.
Yes, he’s a very professional doctor who is all business, but he is very personable and treats me with tender care. And, as I said to him 2 weeks ago, we’ve been friends since 2000, and I wouldn’t let another doctor do surgery on my back but him! He is great, he cares and we love him! He is one of the best doctors around!

Dr. Jamaris is very well versed in hos profession and treats his patients like family. As he said, it makes doing my job a lot easier. I never felt as though he pressured me into surgery. He was thorough, patient and kind. I’m now 4 weeks out of a diskectomy surgery on my L5-S1 and haven’t experienced sciatica since ( thank goodness). He is very responsive to after surgery questions. He is direct and doesn’t mince his words, however he isn’t crude.
I did a lot of research before choosing a surgeon and had a very poor experience before meeting Dr. Jamaris. I couldn’t be happier with my care.
Dr. Jamaris is an excellent surgeon. He listens very carefully to what is going on with you, and is direct to the point. He takes it VERY seriously. And by the way, he does have a sense of humor. It just doesn't come out right away. I tell people about Dr. Jamaris all the time! If I need anything for my back, I will be RUNNING back to Dr. Jamaris!!!!!!!!!
