DaVita Pasadena Dialysis

I can't say enough great things about this place!! My friend J was at IDF where the treatment and staff were so horrific, it actually proved to be deleterious; mentally and physically. So much so, that J decided to stop dialysis altogether. I read the good reviews about Davita Pasadena, and tried to transfer J to this location. IDF initially told J she couldn't leave (lame BS excuses), but after numerous delays and help from Wendy and Lindsay at Davita, J got a chair here. Her first day was amazing; no wait time and the staff were incredibly welcoming and introduced themselves (unlike the IDF staff / patient relaionship which was somewhat analogous to a corrections officer & prisoner scenario). J was elated and said she felt like she was dreaming, but I still wanted to wait before writing a review on only a single visit. Just when we thought it couldn't get better, it did! Her second visit was excellent, as was her third, and they even had a barbeque! Understandably, staff friendliness is nice, but if the actual dialysis isn't good, it would negate any positive qualities. But even the dialysis is great because she is no longer being painfully poked multiple times, and the wait time is nonexistent. But as J stated, wait time wouldn't be an issue anyway, because of the amazing staff and atmosphere. Whereas, every minute at IDF, was like an hour of torture. Pasadena Davita could not possibly imagine how grateful we are! They literally (not figuratively, metaphorically, hyperbolically...) saved a life, and at the very least extended it and improved the quality. I'm sad that I don't know all of the staff's names, but to Wendy, both Lindsays, the Dr., the ex IDF employee, and everyone else; THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!

The staff and just overall area of this place makes it amazing. They really care about you and treat you like family. They remember your name and always make sure your good to go.
