They are upfront with you and don't hesitate to show you what you are or what you were dealing with. The photos of worked performed are great. I was really impressed. So far so good. Transmission is running well.

(January 16, 2019, 8:14 pm)Early one morning on the way to work, my car made a loud banging noise and stopped most forward motion. The engine seemed fine, so I called for roadside assistance and asked to be towed to the dealer, thinking that I was in for a multi-thousand dollar transmission replacement. Before the tow arrived, I called my mechanic, who said "Take it to Jim Jennings". I called Jim Jennings and they said they could take a look at that that day (a Thursday). Called the tow company and changed the destination to Jennings. On arrival, the first thing they told me was that as I trusted my own mechanic with my car, I could trust them, which gave me a large measure of comfort. As I described the weird sounds my car was making and what had happened, Gary told me that it could actually be a broken axle, which would not be anywhere near the cost of a new transmission. They called 4 hours later - it was a broken right axle! Total cost of repair, with transmission service (it was due) and fluid, was $500! The car was ready by 9am the next day. Absolutely amazing. They could have taken advantage of me and I would never have known otherwise. What a great group of people and what a fine company - obviously those 5 star reviews are not a fluke. Thanks so much. BTW, the car, which is 12 years old, runs like new.

(January 11, 2019, 9:50 am)When it comes to cars I'm not a mechanical person. I had a problem with my transmission and Jim Jennings Transmission was referred to me by a good friend. I took my vehicle there to be serviced. The staff were polite, respectful, honest and helpful!
In past experiences dealerships/mechanics usually tried and get over on woman, but not here at Jim Jennings. Mr. Jennings, J.C. , and Ray take a lot of pride in their work and their customer service. They are honest, respectful and dependable.
After my vehicle was serviced and I went home, I noticed something that did not appear to be correct. I was able to bring my vehicle back in. My vehicle issue was addressed and taken care of with no hassle. Again the staff was great! I would recommend Jim Jennings Transmission to everyone. Thank you Mr. Jennings and staff for your wonderful Customer Service! -
