  Brown Memorial Weekday School is a magical place. We have sent 4 of our children so far.
  When I began looking at preschools, I was really picky. I wanted a play-based school where my children would have a love of learning from the very start. I toured many schools, but when I walked into Brown, I knew this was a special place.
  My children still have fond memories of their preschool. All their (and my) best friendships were made there.
  My children were above average in their grades, and the teachers in their elementary school loved them. I attribute this love and respect for learning to Brown.

  My daughter has attended here for the 2's, 3's, and 4's program and we really can't say enough wonderful things about the school and the teaching staff. The nature based curriculum was something that drew us into their program and it did not disappoint. The children really have an opportunity to be immersed in nature and experience being a kid. I would definitely recommend!

  My son has had a fantastic experience at Brown Memorial Weekday Preschool. From our first visit I could see that both the teachers and the students were enjoying their time together- everyone looked relaxed and happy all over the school. I can not think of a single time my son has come home from school in a bad mood, he is always feeling great and full of stories, songs and fun facts to share from the day! The approach to discipline is to help the kids learn both compassion for others and to trust themselves, combine flexibility and the ability to speak for themselves and negotiate. I see him getting along with his siblings better at home using skills from school. Brown is truly a special place.

  This preschool holds a huge place in my heart. We have been at Brown for 4 years and have found a community as well as a school. If you're looking for nurturing teachers, wonderful families and a well rounded beginning for your little one, this is the place!

  Little school with a BIG heart! My own kids went to Brown and I've been teaching there ever since. The program includes both preschool classes and an excellent certified kindergarten. It's a wonderful, warm, nurturing place with lots of time for play and exploration of the natural world. Highly recommend!
