I recall Ji-Sun as an ambitious student pursing a second career in nursing after she discovered that helping others needing care was her true passion. As her preceptor, I often coached her to help enhance her writing skills for various assignments and during that time I knew she would go on to be very successful in this career. She expressed that one of her long-term goals was to set up a healthcare business providing care for the elderly. It soon became clear to me that her ambition and experience across different disciples in the field including rehabilitation nursing, adult day care, and school health would equip her to be the pioneer for her business that she is. No matter the need or the diversity of the client, her agency is highly trained and trusted to handle it all!

I am Ji Kim, the Nursing Director at Eden Personal Care who recently had the pleasure of being introduced to a gentleman named Adam by one of our support planners. I met Adam and his mother Cathy, who is also his caregiver during a visit to our agency to complete paperwork. Cathy, a lady with such a bright attitude and infectious energy and Adam, her son with Down Syndrome who is shy but polite with a friendly mannerism were both a delight. After the initial visit, Cathy sent a wonderful "thank you" email to our staff, and I am sharing it. It is such an inspiration for me and very rewarding that they felt what we strive to put forth everyday, an agency where home is in our hearts. Its gives me great satisfaction and motivates me to devote more to continuing the work of caring for our home care clients. It was such a "precious present" for me and the staff, and I want to share this email with others who may be considering home care for their loved ones. Good Morning,
I want to thank you for having us visit your center. It is such a remarkable place: bright, clean, spacious, up to date furniture, recreation (nice pool table!) and smelled so clean and fresh!
The best part of your center is the people. James, Adam is 39 years old and has been in special needs programs since shortly after birth. (He and I were in a Parent-Infant program for the first 4 years of his life. )We were part of the Baltimore County School system from ages 6 months to age 21. We have been to Kennedy Krieger for speech and language services and have visited several day programs for disabled adults.
Your center stands out, head and shoulders, above ANYTHING we have seen.
Meeting yourself, Ji and Kitty left me with such a warm, positive feeling that I can’t put it into words.
Having a disabled adult child is very unsettling at times. They are vulnerable and trusting, so it is imperative that they are in a safe place.
Your center not only provides the safety, but the comfort, a feeling of love & care from the staff and a clean, modern, comfortable space.
Sometimes the phrases “blessing” and “answer to prayer” are tossed around without much thought.
I am a Christian and tell you that your center is surely a blessing and an answer to prayer for many.
I find that people generally take the time to complain, but not compliment. I wanted to take the time to tell you what a wonderful organization you have.
And thank you for the lovely gifts. The word puzzles were perfect for Adam!
And Pat and I feel pampered by the soap.
