His instructor, Master Dan Hyson is amazing with his students and is very patient with the new students. He teaches discipline, integrity, self-control and so much more. Highly recommended to anyone who wishes to learn this form of Martial Arts.

Mr. Hyson didn't treat me any different than any of his younger students. I received my belt in 2013. If you are interested in beginning study or continuing study of Tang Soo Do, this is the best anywhere. Master Hyson teaches character, humility, perseverance, confidence, loyalty, manners, self defense and of course a truly authentic style of Martial Art.
I consider Master Hyson a true Karate Master and friend. Stop in for a trial lesson and experience the Maryland TSD way, you won't be disappointed.
