Friendly, professional staff. I would definitely recommend this surgical center.
I just had knee surgery at the Frederick Surgical Center today and I was very impressed with the level of care I received the entire time I was there, including from the receptionist, the preop nurse, the anesthesia team, the OR nurse, the post-op nurse, my surgeon Dr. Kowalk, and even from the lady who wheeled me out to the car. Everyone was kind, professional, skilled, and dedicated to my comfort and care. I have had over ten surgeries and so I have a lot to base my opinion on.
Very friendly staff. Dr was great. Overall had a great experience.
Arrived and signed in, registering person was average with no thrills. Once I got into the back with the RN'S, Anesthesiologist, OR Nurse things drastically change. The caring staff is incredibly knowledgeable and caring all the way through to recovery. My visit was for a surgery to my ruptured Achilles' tendon so I was in the need help and care. Greatly appreciate the caring staff in the pre-op, operating room, and recovery. Hope I do not need another surgery, albeit; if I do I know where I want to be.
