  I have been treated by APT a few times and each time the staff makes you feel as if you are a special patient. I am extremely satisfied with the results due to the professional therapists. And Lauren is great.

  I just can't say enough good things about Active Physical Therapy. The entire staff (and Lucas McCollum, in particular) is outstanding.
  
  Previously I had seen another physical therapist in Frederick and just did not get results after shoulder surgery; I was seeing no improvement at all.
  
  However, Lucas was able to treat me and make dramatic improvements. I'm well on my way to being back to 100% and there's no question in my mind that it was his excellent plan and encouragement that got me here.

  My son’s orthopedic surgeon recommended Active Physical Therapy to rehab his shoulder. As an athletic trainer, I am very particular with PT’s and find that some do not spend a lot of hands on time or provide educational material with patients. I am incredibly impressed with the amount of time and energy that the therapists spent with my son. Cory did a very thorough evaluation and really narrowed down the problem. He and Lucas worked very hard to get him back into playing condition for football. They understood his desire to get back quickly and made sure he did it safety.
  In addition to the physical therapists, the staff is wonderful and the facility is large, very clean, and the waiting room is great.
  I highly recommend using them for any rehab.

  Our son recently had a UCL repair performed at Andrews Institute in Birmingham, Al. Looking back, the surgery was the easy part for our son, the physical therapy was where the work took place. It was super important that we saw a therapy staff that understood the extensive protocols, a staff that could actively help and participate with his protocols and a staff that clearly understood him as an athlete. We found all these things and more in the staff at Active Physical Therapy. The staff at Active Physical Therapy remain an integral part of his journey and we are and will always remain very appreciative for everything they have done and continue to do. They truly have become part of our family and hold a very special place in our hearts. Highly recommend!

  The staff at Active Physical Therapy are all very knowledgeable and helpful. You are always greeted with a smile. The facility is clean. The waiting area is inviting, minus the uncomfortable chairs ;) The therapists that worked with my son for his back and elbow were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and came up with a treatment plan for exactly what he needed. He is a pitcher in high school and Lucas worked with him pitching to help with his elbow. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a facility for their physical therapy needs.
