The Safe Harbor program at the Emmitsburg location saved my life hands down. I went there with my son when he was 6-weeks old and we left when he was 11 months old, while we were there I was taught how to live with out drugs and alcohol something I never though I could do all while taking care of my son and learning how to be a mother. Ms. NIcole the director was hard but I imagine that is how she has to be to keep from being manipulated by addicts with less then genuine motives!! My counselor Ms. Judy was no nonsense and because of her I was able to find out who I am. This was almost 6 years ago!! I have been clean now for 5 years and I owe this partly to Emmitsburg Mt. Manor, and to my self...I now work as a Peer Recovery Coach on a detox in it helping addicts just like me get into treatment...and I will always recommend Mt. manor in Emmitsburg
