    I inherited my father’s wedding band, it was a rather large ring size 13 1/2. I wanted to do something simple to it so I could wear it. I wanted to change it up, but keep it his ring with a little bit of me added. I turned to Smale Jewelers and after a couple discussions with Mike, he came up with a few ideas. I didn’t want to shorten Dad’s ring the size of it is a reminder of who he was, so one thought was a by-pass style and to add a channel set of my birthstone. Mike spent a lot of time with me and created a mold of the channel set and I came back to his office and he put the mold in the band to allow me to get an idea of how it would look. I LOVED it! Mike got me some gorgeous Blue Sapphires to put in the channel.
    This daddy's little girl, loves having this ring and being able to have a piece of my dad with me.

    From start to finish, Mike has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Throughout the entire process he was extremely attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable.

    My engagement ring is absolutely stunning and I owe Mike the credit for creating it exactly how I envisioned. I would recommend Mike to anyone who is looking to work with an honest and all around amazing person who wants the time and attention to detail that they deserve.
