It's refreshing to have finally found someone we can trust. We've hired him for jobs both small and large and he always provides quality work. He's helped us tremendously in fixing work we've had done by less reputable contractors.

(September 6, 2013, 7:43 am)Our 60 year old house desperately needed bathroom renovations. Friends recommended Dexter Grimmett because he had done nice work on their bathroom. For our master bath, Dexter completely gutted the entire bathroom (down to the studs), and renovated the entire thing. He built a custom shower pan, tiled the shower and floor, installed a new toilet, sink, vanity, painted, installed lights, installed a heat bulb, etc. For the upstairs hallway bathroom, he installed a new jacuzzi tub, tiled the shower/tub area, installed a glass block window, moved a toilet (which required some nifty plumbing work) painted, etc. For the downstairs bathroom, he tiled the floor. He did an AMAZING job with everything he has done for us. Dexter is a very talented contractor and it seems as if there is nothing that he cannot do. He has a lot of experience renovating bathrooms and offered great suggestions. Dexter is great at adding the finishing touches and doing the little things that turn a great job into a fantastic one. We asked him to try to help us find a way to cover up our exposed electrical panel box in the downstairs office. He designed and built a mini-closet with sliding panel doors that hangs off the wall, which is just big enough to cover the box, but not too obtrusive in the room. It's one of those things that I would never have thought about doing, but is exactly what was needed. When we have the $$ to do other things around the house, like converting our carport into an enclosed garage, we will call Dexter because we know that he can do the job.
