  The sanctuary is an absolute treasure. It is both intellectually and visually stimulating while being so peaceful and restorative. It is well-worth a visit.

  The Audubon Society in Chevy Chase is a very nice place for a catered gathering. The occasion for my latest visit was a Celebration of Life for a recently deceased friend. The proceedings took place on the terrace under large tent. Food and beverages were offered inside. The only problem was insufficient parking for a large gathering. We were directed from the front entrance through to the back exit, where we parked on the street and then walked back.

  Very nice wedding venue. They set up croquet outside on the grass, and hosted not only a normal ceremony, but also an Indian one as well. As for the inside, the bathroom situation can get tricky as many people had to wait in line. The dance floor is a bit tight, but works. They set up the outside tent beautifully, although it's shaped like a "T" rather than a full rectangle because the back of the building sticks out.
  
  Great venue for a wedding with a positive experience.
