Zimmerman's Ace Hardware

Small store but PERFECT.
Customer Service EXCELLENT.
Definitely recommend if you don't need to go to huge stores to buy few things.
Paintings, electricity, gardening, plumbing...

Excellent customer service both on the phone when I called to ask about inventory and in the store. Doug was a great guy to work with, very knowledgeable about the products they had in stock and pointed me in the right direction. Will be using this as my go to hardware store.

I got tired. Tired of not finding what I came for quickly. Tired of the noise and rude customers. Tired of walking. Tired of Lowes and Home Depot.

I'll go out of my way to stop at Zimmerman's (Ace) Hardware, because they have what I need, there's lumber in the downstairs, and the staff aren't starry-eyed kids or missing-when-needed. The travel time saves me time going back later; the staff are courteous and make sure you've found what you needed.

One nice touch is that the time and supplies aren't use-once, just-good-enough quality. This is a better hardware store, I recommend it.

You know how you feel when you go into a hardware store to get a hex bolt or a half inch plastic connector and you can't find one anywhere because each bin is full of a mixture of stuff people have just thrown back when they couldn't find what they were looking for. Zimmerman's is not that kind of place. Everything is sorted, separated and where it is supposed to be. It is so nice to be able to go to a hardware store and actually find what you need. Keep up the good work.
