Mark was an absolute pleasure to work with. We commissioned him to do an oil of our 3 children. I worked with him over email initially on styles of portraits that I liked (he sent hundreds of pictures for my comments), placement of the children in the scene, clothes styles and colors that worked well, and sizing. He was very receptive to my ideas and he "got" my taste and the old world look I was going for. He then flew in for a weekend to do 2 days of photos of the children. He was great with them - very friendly and instantly put them at ease. We then worked with him to choose the best pose/ photo. Once that was done, he went to work. Within 6 weeks, he had completed the portrait. I am delighted with it. I think he captured all 3 of the children's distinct personalities and created something we will treasure as they grow up. It is now the focal-point of our living room. He is a very talented portraitist and I recommend him very highly to anyone who in the market for this special keepsake work of art.
