(December 18, 2019, 10:48 am)I can't say enough good things about Katie. She is a caring, committed and professional midwife - she knows her stuff! She gives great, no-nonsense advice, helping you weigh all the options so you, the client, can make an informed choice. No pushiness here!
Her calm presence is exactly what I needed at the birth of my second son. She could sense when my contractions were getting bad and did things like squeezing my hips together. It felt like heaven!
It is a privileged woman who has Katie help her welcome a new child into the world. If you are considering a home birth, you absolutely need to speak to Katie Shannon. After doing so, I'm sure you'll see what I did and know that you need her at your side.
