Izzy passed away on 11/18/2022. I contacted them and brought her in right away they received me and her with open arms. Izzy body was ready and Tuesday which they contacted me and when I arrived of course I got emotional but they did a very good job their work and everything was beyond amazing and I knew I picked the right place. Thanks to everyone their my mind as at ease with her home with me and thanks for providing me with everything I requested.

My cat Buddy passed away at home and I called Maryland Pet Crematory to help me. According to the website, they asked that you call ahead due to Covid. Caitlin answered the phone and was so kind. She told me I could bring him in that day. When I arrived she was so compassionate. She asked if I needed help carrying him in, but I was fine doing it myself. She was very respectful in handling the body and explained the paperwork to me. She also offered to let me have a private moment to say goodbye, if I wanted.

As others have said, the facility is clean and quiet. It felt very peaceful to me. They have a few options with cremation depending on whether you want the ashes returned and will provide an urn and clay paw print with a lock of fur included in the price. I was given the choice between two styles of the included urn that were nice and appear to be of good quality. I was not pushed at all into any type of upsell, which I appreciated. The only thing I paid extra for was to have Buddy's name engraved on a nameplate for the urn, which was only $10. The pricing for cremations is on their website and I believe are very reasonable. I was called the next day to pick up the urn and Caitlin again explained the paperwork I received, which included a certificate of cremation.

If you are confused about the location, they are located behind the Beall Funeral Home, just drive in and go straight back. Parking is marked. I was very satisfied with the service I received. The last thing you need during a difficult time with the death of a pet is more stress or worry, but Maryland Pet Crematory, particularly Caitlin, added none and made it a very smooth process. The first time I used this business was for my cat Penny. .Prior to this, I used the 'cremation option' provided at the vets offices. The facility was clean, well maintained and quiet.The young lady who took care of us was kind and respectful and did not push in any way for anything I didn't want. It was much more personal than leaving my pet at the vets and receiving the remains in the mail weeks later. Maryland Pet Crematory handled my cat with care, and I returned to pick her up only a few days later. Their prices are better than the vets, the service was very good and it just helped to make a bad day more bearable. I appreciate the compassion and care that they demonstrated for my cat and me.

When the unimaginable occurred, suddenly, Sunday morning, Maryland Pet Crematory was available, and with a quick call to Tom, the owner of Beall Funeral Home, with which the crematory is associated, my wife and I had arranged an individual cremation for our girl. We needed to know it would be her ashes we took home with us and so we chose the witnessing option. The facility is new and clean; witnessing is via a private room with a window into the cremation chamber. Monday morning, Jay and Caitlin were beyond patient, kind, and accommodating as we said our final goodbyes to our beautiful, beloved mutt. They treated us with compassion and handled our dog’s body gently and with respect. Our appreciation for making such a sad time as painless as they did is profound.

A kind young woman greeted me in a pleasant space in this clean new facility, and gave me time to process letting go and handing over the remains of my dear cat. She listened caringly, with attention, to what I told her about Bennie.

Their price for individual cremation is more reasonable than the place I used to go, and they offer lovely wooden urns without additional charge, instead of the plastic box given by the other place. So, I want to express my appreciation for this new service offered by the Beall funeral home.
