I've been training my 12 yr old son Simon, daughter Junya and myself with Sunny for a couple of months now with an intense paradigm of 3x/week lessons,often privates with Simon- since I'd like him to play professional tournaments including varsity and intervarsity competitive tennis.
Sunny is one of the best tennis teachers I found in LA!
He is definitely light-years ahead of our previous one.
He has been very professional, dedicated, energetic with state-of-the-art instruction about modern tennis.
Lessons are super-tailored to Simon and include agility ladders, topspin training tools, medicine balls etc,not just groundstrokes.
He counsels about strength training and nutrition as well to keep the big picture in mind.
He's charming and personable with kids, and Simon and he have a lot of fist bumps and laughs.
In summary, I'm very glad I found him and I couldn't recommend him more!

Sunny is fun, easy going and motivating coach. I came to Sunny wanting to learn to be good at rallies and get more activity into my lifestyle. I definitely see improvement in my technique. I take classes twice a week and always look forward to our sessions. A typical class includes some footwork, forehand, backhand, rally, volleys or serve practice. I have had a yearning for a while to get back on the courts and re-learn tennis. I played in high school and college, and then drifted away from the sport as my career and life took priority. Now, in my late fifties, I wondered whether I could master the sport again. I found Sunny online and sent him a note. We've met and played a couple times and I must say he has helped me regain my confidence and reconnect with the fun of playing. Sunny is patient, providing clear, helpful instruction. And, he's a joy to play with. You can tell he has passion for the sport and seeing others connect and do well. I am glad I connected with Sunny and definitely recommend him!

Sunny is a experienced coach with very positive attitude. A couple of classes in and I already feel more comfortable and improved as a beginner level player. Definitely looking forward to continuing the journey and recommend to those who haven't tried.

Sunny is professional and personable. He tailors the lessons to the person, their capability and their goals. He pushes in a way you’d expect a coach to push which I believe forces me to get uncomfortable...until it gets comfortable. He pays close attention to your form and makes adjustments as needed even if it’s every swing so you don’t develop any bad habits. I feel like I’m learning quickly because he ensures that I don’t lose any of the skills I’m learning that can get lost if too much time passes. I don’t have a consistent schedule and he’s patient and willing to make it work for me.
