    I saw mixed reviews for this place so was a little unsure about going but it was much better than I expected! It wasn't buggy at all though it has not rained in a couple of days when we went. The water is shallow enough for small dogs to go in and the beach nice and sandy. We really enjoyed our day trip here and will definitely be back! Bring please type of snacks and water since there isn't anywhere nearby to purchase those items.

    Small beach with views of the Bay Bridge. Not too crowded. Has bathrooms and a snack shack but nothing amazing. Nice place to hang out with the family.

    Probably the best in the area, IF YOU HAVE A DOG. It's like a beach dog park...
    Otherwise, apart from the fact that it's fully free (incl. parking), it's not an amazing beach: lots of wood bits in the sand prevent you from playing sand sports and all the dogs running around too (some will eat your sandwiches...)

    Nice beach. Not too far from the city, great atmosphere. The motorized sports were far away from the swimmers and children. They only had a few tables but if you bring a blanket or chair you'll be fine. I went around 630 pm during the summer. The sum was coming down from.its high, the crowd was dispersing, and the water was warm.

    Dirty bay water, dont expect a clean place. I go to the side where dogs get to run free off leash. The people are very friendly and my dogs love to swim here. SEAWEED LOTS OF SEAWEED. Bring an umbrella for the sun as there is limited sometimes no shade. No facilities that I could find except 2 porta potties in the parking lot.
